Second contender in our list is none other than classic mini. We all definitely know this car as it was the second most influential car of the 20th century. It remained an icon for 5 decades. Still people like this car so now the question rises how did it became so popular? Well the answer is quite simple it was the first car of it's type which was small enough to carry 4 adults. It's predecessor Morris Minor was quite an economical car as it brought the country back on its legs. Morris Minor was a huge success for England but despite all this they still needed a smaller car for London's busy streets so in 1959 BMC launched the morris mini. It became highly successful than its predecessor. There are many factors which lead to it's success as it was an economical compact car with big room space and excellent road handling. It was powered by a front mounted 848cc engine but later bmc upgraded it's engine. It was truly an icon. We also know that it was used by none other than  Mr. Bean in his every series. It is still in production but the new model can't beat the Classic MINI.

It had a 2 cylinder 479cc engine located in the back. It was a small city car which gives equal pleasure both in the city and on the highway. Fiat 500 was a huge success for the fiat automobiles as it was light weight, fuel efficient and most importantly small in size. It remained in production till 1975. During it's run fiat launched many models of fiat like 500 sport, 500 D, 500 F, 500 L, 500 R etc and top of the line fiat abarth which was a racing model with a high performance engine.
